LEGO May the 4th 2025: Star Wars Sets

It’s that time of year again—May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day! For LEGO fans and Star Wars collectors alike, this is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Not only do we get exciting new LEGO Star Wars sets, but we also get access to exclusive promos and deals that only come once a year.

Here’s a look at the LEGO Star Wars sets dropping this May 1st, along with what I’ll personally be picking up—and what I’m still torn on.

🧱 What I’m Buying on May the 4th

🔹 Jango Fett Helmet

Leading the charge for me is the brand new Jango Fett LEGO Helmet. With sleek metallic detailing and that unmistakable Mandalorian design, this one’s a must-have for helmet collectors and prequel trilogy fans alike.

🔹 Kylo Ren Helmet

Next up is Kylo Ren’s LEGO Helmet, an updated version of the First Order villain’s iconic mask. With a more refined build and aggressive styling, this one will pair nicely with other Sith helmets like Vader and the upcoming Darth Revan sets.

❓ Kylo Ren’s Shuttle vs. the New U-Wing

Now here’s where I’m conflicted. I’ve had Kylo Ren’s Shuttle on my wishlist for a while—it’s such an imposing ship with those massive folding wings. But LEGO’s scaled-down version of the U-Wing is also very tempting. It’s compact, affordable, and great for display or play. I may just have to flip a coin in the store…

🔹 Jango Fett’s Slave I (Starship)

I’m especially excited about the new Jango Fett Slave I set (officially titled Jango Fett’s Starship). This updated version improves on the classic design, fits perfectly with Boba Fett’s version from The Mandalorian, and is launching May 1st—just in time for Star Wars Day.

🎁 Sets With May the 4th Promos

If you’re planning to take advantage of the May the 4th LEGO GWP (Gift With Purchase) deals, these are the sets to watch:

🔸 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit (Promo Eligible)

This mini diorama includes a scaled-down Sarlacc Pit and Desert Skiff, perfect for fans of Return of the Jedi. It’s one of the top promo offerings this year, and you’ll likely need to spend a certain amount (typically $150+) to qualify.

🔸 AT-TE Helmet (Promo Eligible with Helmet Purchase)

If I do pick up both the Jango and Kylo helmets, I’ll probably add the AT-TE Pilot Helmet to round out the build and push my total high enough to unlock the freebies. It’s a clean, detailed build and fits in perfectly with the Republic-era lineup.

🔸 Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea

This set recreates one of the best scenes from Ahsoka on Disney+. If you’re a fan of Baylan Skoll and the mystical side of Star Wars, Duel on Peridea is a must-buy. The minifigures alone make it a standout set.

🔚 Maybe… If the Budget Allows

If I still have some credits left in the ol’ galactic bank account, I might go all in on The Onyx Cinder, a newer Star Wars original set with stunning black-and-red aesthetics. It’s less traditional than the others, but looks incredible on display and would be a great way to end the haul.
